AT&T’S BROKEN PROMISES

LETTERS TO CONGRESS CAMPAIGN

AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson made big promises last year to create jobs if Congress passed the Tax Cut and Jobs Act.

Instead of creating jobs, AT&T continues to ELIMINATE jobs! To add insult to injury at$t has refused bargain with us for a fair contract that keeps jobs in our communities.

We have a new Congress now in 2019, and Randall Stephenson’s friends who pushed that tax cut through are no longer  in charge in the House of Representatives.

It’s time for Congress to launch an investigation to find out what happened to the billions of dollars of our money that they gave away to at$t.

Handwritten letters get the get attention in Congressional offices, so we’re collecting letters describing why it is important to investigate at$t. CWA members will deliver these letters, in person, to members of Congress when they are back in their home districts during the President’s Day Congressional recess.

Please take a few minutes and follow the instructions included in this toolkit. When you have completed your letter, return it to your Steward or Local Officer. Please collect additional letters from family or friends! Personally delivered, hand-written letters to Legislators across the Midwest will not go unnoticed!

While it is preferable to turn all letters in to your Local, if that is not possible you can mail to CWA at 501 3rd St. N.W., Washington, DC 20001 attn: Legislative Office
