CWA District 9 Rejects Contract With AT&T

Sisters and brothers, the fight in California and Nevada continues for a fair deal from AT&T. From here it looks like AT&T is having trouble achieving labor peace with those like us who built the network. Our turn is coming next spring and I can only recommend that we all start saving our Fairness and Unity money now, in case we need to send AT&T a message then!

Below is the CWA International’s statement on the vote-tally. Stay strong, save money, watch each other’s backs.

In solidarity,

Tina Culver, President

We are not here to be an a.t.m. machine for Hillary, Bernie or whoever. The proposed prem tech scope of work means that in roughly a year, 40% of your dues paying members will be surplussed while the fat cats at the union hall are waiting for a v.s.r.o. to ride off into the sunset!!!! Union membership is shrinking because Ford, Boeing and other union jobs have almost completely disappeared!!!!
